Overview

Areon is a global car and home fragrance brand sold in over 80 countries. When I joined the team, they had a solid product and a loyal offline customer base—but their digital channels were lagging behind. My role was to modernize their online presence, increase visibility, and scale ad campaigns that not only attracted traffic but actually converted.

Over several months, I worked across website UX, SEO, paid media, and social content. I helped transform Areon’s site into a faster, more search-friendly experience and built full-funnel ad strategies that increased reach, engagement, and lead quality across platforms.

Challenge

Areon had strong brand recognition in physical retail but was underperforming online. The website suffered from technical issues, unclear navigation, and poor mobile usability, making it hard for customers to browse or buy. On top of that, paid ads weren’t generating enough return, and social content wasn’t strategically aligned with product launches or promotions.

What I did?

1. Website optimization and SEO overhaul

I took full ownership of the WordPress site and ran a deep SEO and UX audit. I fixed crawl errors, improved load speed, and made the site mobile-friendly. I restructured pages around high-intent keywords, updated metadata, and improved internal linking, which resulted in a ~25% increase in organic traffic in just six months. Bounce rates also dropped by 15% on key landing pages.

I also worked on localized SEO for several regional markets, improving indexing and relevance for local search terms.

2. Performance advertising across platforms

I managed Google Search, Display, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns end-to-end. I built everything from scratch—ad copy, visuals, custom audiences, and conversion tracking (GA4 + Meta Pixel). A/B testing became part of my weekly rhythm, helping lift CTR by 18% and optimize performance with real data.

To improve targeting, I refined LinkedIn and Meta audience segments, which resulted in 30% better lead quality and stronger engagement, especially during seasonal campaigns.

3. Cross-channel content strategy

Organic content needed direction—so I stepped in to align it with our paid efforts. I planned and published posts around launches, gifting campaigns, and promos using Canva and brand templates. I made sure messaging was consistent across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
